Scholarships: Expanding Access to Families in Need
Many parents want to participate in parenting education but are unable to afford program fees. Donations to Border Community Resources help fund scholarships for individuals and families who otherwise would not have access to these resources.
Scholarship support allows us to:
- Offer free or reduced-cost parenting classes
- Ensure no parent is turned away due to financial hardship
- Provide equitable access to education and support across our community
- Reach families experiencing economic stress, life transitions, or crisis
Scholarships are awarded based on need and are used exclusively for educational programming, not for clinical or therapeutic services.
How to Give
Border Community Resources relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners to sustain this work.

- Class or scholarship sponsorships
Sponsor a Family
When you sponsor a family through Border Community Resources, you help remove financial barriers so parents can access practical parenting education and ongoing support—regardless of their ability to pay.
Many families in our community want to participate in Parenting with Love and Logic® classes but face financial challenges. Your sponsorship provides scholarship funding that allows parents to attend classes, receive materials, and participate in aftercare support groups at no or reduced cost.
Sponsoring a family is a meaningful way to invest directly in healthier homes and stronger communities.
What Your Sponsorship Provides
- Enrollment in Parenting with Love and Logic® classes
- Educational materials and resources
- Access to aftercare support groups for continued learning and encouragement
Suggested Sponsorship Levels (optional)
- $200.00 Sponsors one parent for a full parenting class series
- $370.00 – Sponsors one family (two parents) for classes parenting class series
- $740.00 – Sponsors multiple families or a full group session
- $250.00 – after care support groups
- Custom Gift – Designate your sponsorship to meet current family needs. Specify: Donate to a specific named family you decide. Give this class as a gift.

At Border Community Resources, we believe every family deserves access to practical parenting education and community support—regardless of income or circumstance. Your donation helps remove financial barriers so parents can gain the tools, confidence, and encouragement they need to raise healthy, resilient children.
As a nonprofit organization, Border Community Resources provides non-clinical, educational programming, including Parenting with Love and Logic® classes and parent aftercare support groups. These programs are offered to the broader community and are separate from the clinical mental health services provided by Border Counseling Services.
Transparency & Trust
Border Community Resources is a nonprofit organization committed to responsible stewardship and transparency. Contributions are used exclusively to support our educational and community-based programs. Border Community Resources provides non-clinical educational programming and does not offer mental health diagnosis or treatment. Border Counseling Services is a separate entity providing licensed mental health services.
Donations are tax-deductible and are considered non-refundable.
